Prisms
IMPEX HighTech manufactures prisms of various types from suitable crystals.
Optical prisms are used either for beam deflection or as dispersive elements. The principle of total internal reflection or the dependence of the refractive index on the wavelength is used here. In spectral apparatuses, they are used for spectral decomposition.
The optical prisms we offer are suitable for a wide range of applications. Prisms can be made from materials such as sapphire, quartz, fluorides and other materials. Our extensive range of optical prisms includes various shapes and configurations, such as right-angled prisms, dispersion prisms, roof prisms, retro-reflective prisms, penta prisms and wedge prisms.
Optionally, prisms can be coated to minimize reflection losses, for example.
