ELM1064
The ELM1064 series is based on our diffusion-bonded Nd:YAG + Cr:YAG crystals.
By varying various parameters such as the length, the initial transmission or the degree of output coupling of the crystals, the beam parameters can be influenced so that we can offer both standard versions and customized lasers.
ELM1064 is a compact module that can generate pulses of up to 70 µJ energy with a pulse width of approx. 3.6 ns, for example.
The more powerful ELM1064 HP module generates pulses with an energy of up to 210 µJ.
One of the many applications is LIBS (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy).
In LIBS, a laser pulse is applied to a sample to generate a plasma.
The radiation from the plasma is collected and guided to the spectrometer, for example with the help of glass fibers.
By analyzing the recorded spectra, the atomic composition of the sample can be determined.
Other applications of the modules are LIDAR (light detection and ranging), marking and LIFT (Laser Induced Forward Transfer).
